I just found this post in my "edits" list. I cant believe I never finished it!
We spent Thanksgiving out in Colorado at my sister's house. It is crazy to travel half way across the country with two little kids, but they did great and I was glad to be with my family for the holiday.
You can read all about our actual meal over on the food blog if you are interested in what we "clean eaters" eat for Thanksgiving.
During the trip Leigh also set up a photo shoot for all of us. We spent an afternoon in Wash Park getting photos of all the possible combinations of family, including a shoot of just Schoons. Unfortunately, though, the photographer said our photos wouldnt be ready until right around Christmas which means no photos for the Christmas card :o(
However, Leigh is also getting into photography and was planning to invest in a new camera. Since our "professional" photos werent giving us the instant gratification we wanted, Leigh went ahead and bought her new camera. (It's awesome). We spent another afternoon hiking and playing around Wildcat Bluff. Below are some of the awesome pictures Leigh took. She might be a newbie to the gig, but I think the kid's got real promise!

Maggie's riding high on Papa T's shoulders
I adore this little girl.
And here are two more of my favorite people... can you believe that look on Nora's face?
And there she goes.
Nora was totally into these rocks which made this rockhound mama's day. I totally understand what is so enthralling about a tiny pebble or the shape of a rock face.
Maggie was Leigh's official "model" for the rest of the trip. I could really post about 20 awesome solo shots of her, but here are just a few:
Last but not least, here's the family whole.
Thanks for hosting Aunt Leigh & Uncle Mike!

You've got a beautiful family!
